Turkish Airlines starts Nepal flights

Turkish AirTurkish Airlines on Monday became the 27th international airlines to fly to Nepal.
The Airbus A330 aircraft of the Istanbul-based carrier landed at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) at 7:15 am with 280 passengers on board. It left for Istanbul at 8:45 am.The airline will operate four flights a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays — to Kathmandu. “Though we are currently operating four flights a week, we are working on to operate daily flights form the next month,” Sezgin Saglam, senior vice president — marketing and sales of Turkish Airlines, said at a press meet in Kathmandu.  Continue Reading→

Turkish Airlines to start Ktm flights from Sept

KATHMANDU: Turkish Airlines — one of the leading European airlines — will start direct flights to Kathmandu from Istanbul from September.
The airlines will be flying on Istanbul-Kathmandu route four times a week, starting from September 1, according to general manager of the airlines for Northern and Eastern India Adnan Aykac.
The airlines will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays every week, he said, adding that it wants to be a partner airline of Nepal. “Nepal can utilise opportunity to attract more loyal tourists from west,” he added.Continue reading→
