Transfer from Pokhara to Syauli Bazar. Trek to Ghandruk.
Drive from Pokhara to Syauli Bazar and from here set out on the trek to Ghandruk. The trail descends steeply to Birethanti and follows the west bank of Modi Khola to reach Shaulee Bazaar before climbing again to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the most scenic and popular trek that can be done from Pokhara.
Ghandruk offers very close view of Annapurnas and the view during sunset and sunrise is fantastic. The walk provides you the breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli. The Mountain view is very beautiful and the trail is relatively easy. The highest point is only 2000 m. So there is no risk of altitude sickness. All of these make this trek an ideal choice for everyone looking for short trek in Annapurna foothills.
Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani

On this day, you will divert from the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking trail to a less-used path. Walking through rhododendron forests, you will come across buffalo pastures and small clearings.
Though you have to ascend hills, it will not be a tiring day. It takes approximately three hours to reach Isharu where you can have lunch. After that, you have to go through rhododendron forests again for about two and half hours to reach Dobato.
If you have spare time, you can visit Muldai View Point which is half an hour’s ascent away from Dobato. It is an excellent place to observe the panorama of Himalayan ranges like Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, etc. Morning is the excellent time for sunrise view over those giant mountains.

Excursion Day to Khayer lake
Starting early, this is the longest, but prettiest day as you walk to the sacred Khayer Lake, the most scenic blue-colored lake at the foot of Annapurna South. It is a place of Hindu pilgrimage (4700m), which is believed will help achieve Nirvana. You climb a steep trail on the ridge with stone steps with a gorgeous view of the Annapurna South. There is a small temple dedicated to Khayer Barahi at the lake, you then return back to Khopra Ridge and stay there overnight.

Transfer from Narchyang to Pokhara via Beni (820m)
You climb down to Tatopani from Narchyang for about half an hour. It is then a 3 hours’ drive to Beni, and you are driven back to your hotel in Pokhara.
