The Community Homestay Network is awarded with the fund of € 225,000 by Booking.com
The Community Homestay Network (CHN), a renowned company operating in line with the spirit of Sustainable and Responsible tourism in Nepal , has been selected by Booking.com – as among top 10 world startups in sustainable tourism for 2018, and has been awarded with the grant of € 225,000 from Booking Booster Program.
Himalayan Travel Mart 2018 ends with great promises.
The 2nd Himalayan Travel Mart 2018 (HTM 2018) kicked off in the capital on 1st of June to 3rd of June, 2018.
The HTM, hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Civil Aviation, was organised by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in coordination with national and international tourism associations.
The HTM 2018 ended with several sessions, including an HTM conference, International Travel Bloggers and Media Conference, and a Buyers and Sellers Meet.

Kerung -Tibet to Kathmandu; the first hand highway experience connecting Nepal to China.
China allows the border at Kerung-Rasuwa (Nepal) to become a new checkpoint for international visitors, visiting Tibet – China from Nepal via overland, and vice-versa, already since August.
