KATHMANDU: Muslims across the country on Friday are celebrating Eid al –Fitr with much gusto and fanfare.The day marks the end of Ramadan, the holy festival of the Muslim community. In this holy day, Muslims celebrate with family and friends the completion of fasting and enjoy blessings and joy.Prior to Eid, Muslim families give donation to the poor, which includes rice, barley, dates, rice, among other ritual foods.The government has declared public holiday today on the occasion of the festival.
