TAAN unveils three new trekking trails

Trekking Agencies´ Association of Nepal (TAAN) has unveiled three trekking routes — Humla-Rara, Rara-Khaptad and Jaljala Trek — in mid and far western development regions.
Sushil Ghimire, secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), launched maps and promotional DVDs of the new trails during the 35th annual general meeting of TAAN held on Friday. Continue reading

TAAN to study trekking trails

KATHMANDU: Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) is all set to start exploring two new trekking trails — Great Buddhist Master’s Trail and Mahabharat Rhododendron Trail — in the Timal region of Kavre district, from August 19.
“We will study the trail for two weeks. The trek will start from Timal region of Kavre district and go around Mahabharat range,” said general secretary of TAAN Mohan Lamsal.

TAAN to explore new trekking routes in Khaptad

A seven-member team of Trekking Agencies´ Association of Nepal (TAAN) is embarking on an exploration trip to Khaptad National Park in the far-western region on Friday.
