TAAN to explore new trekking routes in Khaptad

A seven-member team of Trekking Agencies´ Association of Nepal (TAAN) is embarking on an exploration trip to Khaptad National Park in the far-western region on Friday.

Valley to get new trekking route soon

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has been working on developing a new trekking route connecting the four hills in the Kathmandu valley.
The Tourism Infrastructure Development Project, under the ministry, is trying to develop a new trekking route connecting the four hills — Phulchowki, Shivapuri, Champadevi and Chandragiri — surrounding the Kathmandu valley, according to project chief Prakash Raghubanshi.The estimated 38-km trekking route will also be connected with radial routes, he said.
