Nirmal Purja Nims Dai ’14 Peaks’ Nominated for Emmy Awards 2022

The famous Nepali Netflix documentary ‘14 Peaks: Nothing is Impossible’, about Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja ‘Nims Dai” has been nominated for an Emmy Awards 2022. 

This Nepali documentary has been nominated for the Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series and Special genre. Nainita Desai, a music composer, has been nominated in this category. 

Steamed through Netflix on November 29,2021, this film follows Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja and his team as they attempt to ascend all 14 of the world’s highest peaks with an elevation of more than 8,000 meters in the fastest time possible—less than seven months—as part of their “Project Possible” strategy. This documentary has been listed as one of the top ten documentaries. 

The winner will be revealed on September 12 at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
