Champadevi is one of the highest peaks on the southern edge of the Kathmandu Valley (2249 metres). The simplest ascent route follows a rough dirt road that skirts the Dollu Valley (immediately north of Pharping) up to the Haatiban Heights Resort. From there, a well-trodden track leads northwest up and down through pine forest, and then along a grassy ridgetop to the stupa-marked summit. The total hiking time is around 5 hours. Food and water should be carried during the trek.
